Triangulus worked with Daniell Krawczyk of Telvue and Emily Frazier (longtime Public Access TV advocate and techy) to arrange a Drupal meeting at the Alliance for Community Meida Northeast Conference. This meeting was held at Halverson's Restaurant and Pub on Church St. in Burlington and was generously funded by Telvue.
There is a lot of interest in the public media field in Drupal as a hub for communications and organization. Many Public Access Centers have Drupal driven websites. This meeting got folks together who were interested in learning more about Drupal. We addressed general questions and detailed geeky questions over good beer and fine food.

Nice Post!
TelVue is an broadcast equipment and services provider that is paid fees by the channel operators
Telvue is open
Telvue is also one of the most open source friendly providers out there. This fact is closely watched by the open source / Drupal / PEG TV community.
LOL!
Just came across your blog and I too Jan am disappointed I missed the meeting. I just had to comment though as the "Indians" comment to the spammers at the bottom of the page cracked me up. Thanks for a good chuckle! Larry - If you bother to click you'll see it's just my personal ramblings blog!
Missed it!
I just came across your post and darn I wish I hadn't missed that meeting! I agree Drupal is looking good and I'm still on the fence. My old rambling personal blog is in WP but my work one is now on Drupal. Looking forward to learning more and will continue to follow your blog - do post if another meeting is arranged. Oh, and the cold beers sound good too! Jan
